Every day I wake up,
And do the things I do,
I put on my make-up,
And end up missing you.

No matter how I start each day,
No matter how I try,
No matter how much I pray,
I will always cry.

Why'd you have to take those pills?
Why'd you cut your wrists?
You always knew that would kill,
Why didn't you resist.

Now I miss you every day,
I always see your face,
No matter what they say,
I'll have this empty space.
