Somehow the miles find us
Scooped up in broth of moonlight
My hearing seems improved
The touch upon my skin
Your wandering mind
Just a thought of me within
Fine mists just simple prayer
Feathered fingers light my hair

Balk you would and smile
Possessed perhaps by linger
As I paint you with my dreams
Soft the brush…upon impatient lands
Yet you are always patient with me
Gaping at the cartwheels
Lips that seem to search for words
Against my cheek, drawn close and full

Waiting in the wish to speak
The borders lined with buds
Barely clear your silhouette
Not shade or shadow
But sable to my touch
That creed of freedom roams
Along the winsome catacombs
My hand was carved to yours

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

and you never disappoint.

I was reading and thinking how familiar this seemed when I realized that the images reminded me of a favored recurring dream I have...um, only there's a cypress tree in mine.

Thanks again, for the graces.

a gift this day to me
with haze of rain laid upon my breath
to feast your words, it gives me rest
to know that there are others
who, for want of words give gifts to you..

thank you.
