Reflections

Concern for the moratorium of early years
where there were countless hours of day and night…
Where a friend was found without suffrage and plight
where secrets were kept from open wounds, or light…

Where the sea was endless, and its truths abound,
where mom and dad could be happy at home…
That time is gone to the forest to be burned
far away from what I now have learned…

The children have lost heart to decay and lies
while parents are misplaced with social judicial tries…
The hands on the Big Bend Clock are flexed and twisted too
and the person in the mirror is asking, if it is really you…

amazing, you had me at "concern for"
brilliant write...Big Bend Clock and flexed and twisted...what deep despair you have brought the reader right into the core of your heart.

This is very sad.  It is very true that alot of children are lost to lies.

Good Job.

Makes you wonder! Such a sad write JL, and so full of hard truths.

Life is like that,  whether we like it or not!
