Exquisite, pale yellow star of the woodland.
Delicate but vibrant hued petals,
orange centred flower of splendour.


Wrinkled leaves,
veined with sinuous lines.
Hiding underground, this day you have been reaching for.


Spring flower of love,
you fill my eyes with
beauty so rare.
