Night

Enwrapped within the silent night
The velvet black the stars of bright
Resting in each seethe of sheathe
That played upon my breath of breathe.

Standing quiet as the trees
Listening movements of the leaves
Dancing with a swish and sway
Within the velvet black array

And I began to move like wheat
To the rhythm of the beat
Swaying in hypnotic sway
The melody my mind did play

And in that moment of the dun
I became as one on one
In the package of a thought
In a magic web of wrought

It is these remnants of my way
That ease surcease into my day

Sy,
This was  great, but it just kept getting better and better.  I always read yours aloud.  The sound and flow is so beautiful!

They are right...your heart
pumps poems...

and you rarely post at night...
what a treasure to find,
so early in the a.m....

Nice -- a poem captures a moment, and holds it out for everyone to share.
