It's the Little Things ~~*~~ Today, I had my door opened for me not once, not twice, but three times, with the gentleman saying, "There is no limit to how many doors I can open..." as I thanked him with a smile. ~~*~~ I began to leave, and they walked in. Two elderly men with deep dimples and cheerful faces, who sat next to me as I was getting up. One touching my arm and saying "don't leave, stay awhile...I'm buying, what would you like?" "I don't drink often" I said, but he insisted and the two kept me in conversation for over an hour, wondering when I would finish my first and let them buy me another. ~~*~~ Walking uphill on a downhill day, umbrella protecting my thoughts, I wondered what I did to deserve today.
