Gathering memories
like wildflowers
along a path
of pebbled years,
My life basket
overflows with
loving blossoms
of the Lord's blessings.
Tears of joy
spread a rainbow
of gratitude
upon my heart's bounty,
and I am humbled
by the beauty
of life in bloom.

Gawd this is SO beautiful Chris!
And in that basket was a piece from a jigsaw puzzle, yes?

My muse is napping under a willow, too, Sissie...
So I'm glad to see I'm in good company!

Chris,
I'm glad I'm not the only one missing a muse these days. Inspiration seems lacking in my busy life style at this point. I'm also glad that missing muses prompted the repost of this poem I missed on the first round. Lovely verse

Chris...So honest and touching. We should all be thankful for what we have. Enjoyed.
Thanks for taking care of that e mail thing for me...Paul
I'm sure your muse will return, mine was absent for about 2 months by we finally found each other.
