It happened only yesterday, A young man came upon My porch to get permission, To take my daughter to the prom. I told this boy I'm sorry, I wouldn't loan him my old Ford, Much less my baby daughter, To go to the corner store! My reasoning is simple, Why I'd submit to neither, When I was young and rowdy, I might throw a rod in either! |

At the risk of having her hate me, I hope it's a LONG time before your daughter can date if waiting until after your wake is the criteria! LOL LOL... nothing like remembering how YOU were as a teenager to scare you silly at the thought of her going out with one of those teenage-boy-type critters... right??? LOL |
