I always will take
time to appreciate worth;
It was said to the flower.

I will always give
Part of me back
No matter what the hour.

I will reflect the fragrance
Of hyacinth and fragility of a rose.
Of your beauty Love,  I will not cower.

From the flowering  weed  came a cocklebur,
stuck affectionately on sock above the boot.
One might ponder what happened to loves power.

After checking "cocklebur" it dawned on me ...

Well, everything gives what it can! Even the weed longs for  ... appreciation.

Very insightful, as usual, dear Sadie.

Love and hugs. Margherita

Martie,
I'm glad you liked it.  This was hard for me to write as I usually try to jam pack everything into my writing.  Simplicity with few words is tough for me.  Thanks for your sweet response.

muted,
So it sometimes seems, but I suppose we only see one side and don't really know what others are thinking.  I'm glad you enjoyed...

passing shadows,
Thanks.  I think your writing is cool, too.  I don't have the ability to think what you so smoothly convey.

iliana,
I knew those cockleburs would be good for something!  Glad you liked it!

Margherita,
Do you have cockleburs?   Thank you for your kindness in thought and words.  It makes writing even more rewarding to know that others are thinking about something you express...  Thank you.
             Sade
