Weaving Old With The New

Emotions highs and lows
Feel pleasures and pain
Hearts break and repair
Yet we thread once again

The present and the past
Keepsakes of memories
A heart becomes a loom
In creating lifes tapestries

Its with changing patterns
Many hues are displayed
Weaving old with the new
Colouring hearts brocade

Every thread is a vital part
In a process never ending
The fabric of life is woven
Of dark and light blending

Patience and persistance
With the bonds we thread
As hearts lifetime is spun
Upon every path we tread
