Just Me & You Tonight, this Friday, it is just me and you, this calm night, with thundering rain having passed, only lingering droplets of tears, the sun, returned to earth, to somewhere on this globe that you’ve touched before. So much having occurred, so brutal were the earlier hours, when I heard the crow call, when lies were told, when I thought my heart had collapsed at least twice. But then, there you were, to lift me once again, with tender words, of always, and know, and love, making me whole, once more. Moments slip-slide away; me, centering again once more, into you… how like this you are, kind, forgiving, so willing to ease all pains… and I ask, once again, if you would forgive me, my vices, and then, when you touched a finger onto my thoughts, gently whispering all is forgiven, for I gave my promise… and I feel your smile. How it fills me, relieving backwards, have would I thoughts ~ friends of words again seeking… they have to find their own way… then? I leave this note, noting with all sincerity, that I failed to capitalize You. ~*~ May you all find a special peace within, This Easter. Karilea - if I whisper, will you listen? Keeping in mind, I must stand close... |

Touching indeed are your words. And always they enrich my life and fill my heart. Happy Easter Karilea. Thinking of you this week-end. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
