Red sky in morning
The writer takes warning
The day might be rough
When you’ve had enough
And restless waves of thought
Crash upon the shores of naught
And the tide is changing
With each heartbeat’s pound

Red sky of mourning
Writer takes warning
Heads back for a quieter sound

* a work in progress, not progressing as well as I had hoped for... inspired by Eric's TRUE blues song
