Hanging From A Moment

It's here beneath a complex stretch of duskiness overhead
Beauty, in layers, form eternity as heavens bed
It's viewed as our sky in magnitudes of deserving light
And, so, I stare, so aware, at this deep dark night...

Couldn't dismiss the message of prosperity I seemingly found
There in awe of those crystals that never made it to ground
Those stars claimed this sky as their purpose for me
Oh, I embraced it's chill, in assurance, that I could see...

It was a vision with the eyes yet ever touching the heart
Just something the nighttime gave me while we breathe apart
And, there in air, it was hanging from a moment in time
Just like the stars, overwhelming, was something all mine...

And, I saw you, I did, through misty-eyes
With those stars, our connection, between you and I
It's God's real reminder of finer decorations at hand
But, all here hanging from a moment he had planned...

Under this light I can see the path he has paved forever
With good fortune, as our route, that we could walk it together
Oh, no distance could take it's true measurability from within
For, you're that sweetness where winter ends and spring begins...

Simply blessed, I just sighed to that sky for this
A sense of fulfillment that I had always missed
And, with completion imbedding the real meaning it brings
Then, know you are the song I am so willing to sing...

Hanging from a moment the stars did their Godly like dance
And, they showed me divine in a simple glance
Hanging from a moment I touched grateful once again
Oh, so graciously, whole heartedly, Amen...

I adored the whole poem from the captivating title of "Hanging From A Moment" to the closing word of this prayerful write, "Amen".

~ and yes, indeed! ~ "Amen"!

Good to read you again, Sweet Saunni!

Warm hugs,
