Listening to every heart

Willow Songs

In the dawning of the fourth month,
It is willow’s time to dress again,
As she slip-streams yellow green of
Sheer.

But she waits, I know,
As tender leaves lift in wind,
For the time
When summer ascends,
And she becomes lush and lusty
With cicada sounds

When she shall shade, in shadow,
her lovers of summer.

Sunshine,
I marvel at your depiction of the willow.
You have such artistic vision.

Love this keeper Karilea..
The willow, especially in summer is one of my favourites.
They remind me so much of a strong person...
they can bend but do not break.
Beautiful write...has me smiling.

along the marsh, (at the beach)  my second home the willow trees were as beautiful as you have set them here....such calming memories from this, thank you sunny lady...

I'm falling, lost in a dream

Hello Karilea! Finally finished with our move -- tired, exhausted, broke, but happy!

As she slip-streams yellow green of
Sheer
-- that is a fine, fine line, my dear. Pure poetry.
