~How softly this night gives up the April Moon~

And from BloomingRose/Debra, the inspiration that found me
standing in the night, camera in hand, waiting for the moon to show~

Full Pink Moon - April
This name came from the herb moss pink, or wild ground Phlox,
which is one of the earliest widespread flowers of the spring.
Other names for this month's celestial body include the Full Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon, and among coastal tribes the Full Fish Moon,
because this was the time that the shad swam upstream to spawn.

Thank you, Deb~

I saw the moon you eloquently write of, and caught this image of her.

Marge and Deb,
Thank you for the beautiful images.  I was looking at the full moon, too, thinking that someone should write about it.  I'm glad you did.  Deb's background information was a very interesting addition.  I always enjoy stopping in here-you amaze me.

Marge
I love the artistry and words you're using to portray such a beautiful celestial body.
The format is also very clever.
