As Darkness Fell

Even though you may not see,
the depth I find in you
can overwhelm my senses,
make the sky a bluer blue.

When the stars come out to shine
remember I, this night.
Silent thoughts speak through these lips,
uncertainty put right.

Though time is not a measure
nor chains enough to hold,
it's moments like the unexpected
that make the new of old...

Reflecting back to all that is,
I understand of time.
Although elusive it can be,
that tree's still there to climb.

   Thanks~

M

Very cool stanza.

M, your poem is absolutely beautiful and is a reflection of your own beautiful soul.

I sense tranquility in your words.

to know that after all youve been through, that you can say "that tree's still there to climb" means that you are a fighter!
Not only do you revel in beauty but you aspire to "climb it"!

Tranquility has been there all along sweet friend, waiting to ambush you
