Finally
the crying has passed.

Though
each day and every minute
I look backwards
hoping
longing
to see you running
towards me
again.

But each time
my eyes glance back
and take another look at you
the smallest part
of my idle hopes
crunches
when it sees you
running
...
away from me.

Wow...did not expect this end at all.
Very powerful write here.
A sense of impending doom crept
up within this poem, however
I hope that this isn't really
the case with it.

Wonderful write!!
