Of Strike and Stars

I struck a rock in simmers boil
Racked the wind into a whorl
Flung my arms up to the sky
And then I shed a tear in cry

Frustration paint my face in red
Silence mourned me like the dead
But butterflies they clapped their wings
And even birds and insect things

I thank them with a bend of neck
I even did a genuflect
And said as much in prides orate
To thank them for their concentrate

I did an encore rhymed in true
Like puffs of wind into the blue
And tolled the bells within my well
To spread the words and said farewell

It’s then I truly went to sleep
And covered me with stars for keep

See?  All we need is that one last rhyme
to make us happy...

Sy~

This one really touched me.  It reminded me of the world in which my nephew lives.

Thank you for painting it with pretty colors.

  Thank you.

A sleep under the stars makes us all feel free.
Nicely captured in this write,
I loves the feelings this one evoked!

Good morning, Mr. T.!

~ I can see it all now! You on a cliff top flinging your arms up to the sky and  whipping the wind into a whorl. You genuflect to your adoring audience of appreciative birds and insect things. Then after your illustrious oration, you slip into a peaceful slumber beneath a canopy of stars!

Angel hugs 'n kisses,
