Mundane Loop

I dodge the loop of mundane throw
There is a simple trick I know
I close my eyes to lights congeal
And open them to wiles appeal

I drift more often than I should
Perhaps more often than is good
But fantasy is rainbows road
And I am really but a toad

Sleeping in a place of trips
In stasis for a kiss on lips
To wake upon a lovely face
Wearing weaves mantilla lace

She waits for me each wile you see
And we engage a phantoms key
Unlock a door to dreamers goal
And spend a night of soul to soul

Now I ask you my gracious friend
Is this not a better end?

Ah now Sy, this, truly a treat
but Merlin came, and left a gift!

He said "Feed the boy all he'll eat!
then with a KISS his spirits lift!"

Ah Ethome...come and get in line!
We're kicking our heels up all of the time!

And if you behave like the poets we know
there aren't enough kisses for us to bestow!
