Privy

I am privy to the nest
Where poet birds come to rest
Place their thread of woven rhyme
And weave it in, in dated time

Each will stitch a different shade
To add a hitch of golden braid
And leave a piece of feathered wear
As much as they could leave in dare

And in this bit of mental swish
Lies the dipper of the wish
To sip the nectar of each flower
And savor each their love and power

For in gentle flight of write
Lies the mighty of the might
An offering within a goal
Their passage and their gracious soul

So flies these gentle birds of flight
Through the day and through the night

Yes you are privy to that nest and we're glad you are.
I think this is a super line
"Lies the dipper of the wish"

birds....... build nests out of twigs, poets out of words, and me.... a little of both. I used to rhyme, now syllables and stuff.
