somebody's dungeon

There was a time
when I etched upon the face
of your crystal outer shell,
a signature of torment
hoping to get through
scraping, scraping
pains landscaping.

Then one day
the crack appeared
there formed, a tear,
drop of emotion
in slow motion
sliding down smooth surface
at last I'd made it in.

I suppose if we keep banging at the shut door it will eventually open.. eh? either that or we knock it down

Enjoyed Ms Rose.

"drop of emotion
in slow motion"

^*What a beautiful poem*^
We all have a crystal shell
behind which we masquerade.
Too afraid to let anyone in.

a signature of torment
hoping to get through ~~

Hi Anne, nice to see your pretty face appearing here.
I had this feeling once...a need to get through to someone, to make them see~~
it took a very long time.

hugs
