Another Friday
tiptoes over the horizon

in a month of fridays
spring now surpasses
the shadow of winter
yet stays uncertain
as the tentative skies
that still wear the
pictures of early april

one more friday
without making love
without touching
without your soul on mine

one more friday
rises to crescendo
then withers sadly
as the vague colored blossoms
that line the hungry branches
concurrenty falling victim
to the same rainstorms
that fill its hours of
hibernation as the trees
feign sleep but still dream

i wait for you,
the sungoddess
hoping you, the frozen tree
will reap of my light and
warm to my touch , before
this moment forever withers

Mish, this is far more beautiful and inviting than the title suggests.

Oh yes,  the tree may be high and mighty,
but the natural beauty of wild flowers cannot be tamed.

Looking good on ya girlie~

Spring's anticipation
lingers in the icy air,
as emerging blossoms
are wisked away all too soon
caught in northwind's turmoil.

If the frozen tree were to see this,
I'm sure that its heart would melt!!

What a wonderful write.
Again I didn't expect this
from the title either!
