The still pond
reflects only bare branches
as winter passes-
will the blossoms appear
if only for a moment?

They will appear ... trust!

You planted the seed in my mind with this picture.  Sure-the blossoms will thrive, then the luscious greens... This is such an exciting time of the year to take in so much change in just a few weeks!  Thank you for reminding me in your poem of the breath-taking transformation that will soon take place.

paullie
i thought it was snowing again
sad to say, it was
white blossoms falling
quickly as they blessed the bare branch

On a day as dreary and damp as this, that is a good question Choshi.  But rest assured spring will soon show it's true colours.

believe in what your heart feels...

Oh yes, and burst into fullness and then floated off in a gust of wind, ...  but your warm smile still remains and reflects the fullness of your heart....    back   ~P
