Capture the Night

I stand and gaze into the darkness of the heavens,
and the only thing to be seen is the
glittering of the sparkling stars, and
the hazy yellow gold moon that is surrounded by
smoky tendrils that reach out to capture
the unseen mysteries of the night.
This feathery mist is shimmering softly around the
silhouettes
of the darkened trees.
Their look, in the distance, is of being dressed
in a web of black lace
with sheer organdy dancing gracefully around
the slender trunk and graceful limbs.
As you stand and listen-
You hear the whispering of the wind and it goes deep
into
the hidden crevasses of your mind.
A slight feeling of fear, you do feel.
This universe so large, and we so small.
Reach out to the smoky tendrils of the mist.
Capture the magic.
Capture the beauty.
Capture the mysteries of the night.

Love Bon-Bon

You captured them beautifully, Bonnie.
The awe inspiring night sky is a great invitation to meditate.
