Three Little Pigs

The story of three little pigs
Who loved to wallow in the mud of digs?
Until covered from Long John to Toe
And lost the sight of what they know.

And the last pig called Balladeer
Was covered in mud from sight to ear
And found that he could fling naïve
By flinging mud by word conceive

So each built houses all alone
One of hay, one twigs, one stone
To keep each other from condemn
But the wolf was there inside of them

There was no need to huff and puff
The acid of mud dissolves all stuff
And they were steeped in flotsams core
Until they could carry no more

I fear the day of the sour pun
And friendly laughter turns to dun.

Ah Sy this is just too cute!
But, I'd duck if I were you...
You know how those fellas can be.
Enjoyed my morning giggle with you.

'Tis often seen in little boys' play
how the mud hardens when flung, to clay
and pelts can sting, we know the truth
perhaps the answer is, uncouth?

For if we laugh with hilarity
at these boys' jocularity
our laughter will turn to runnels of tear
and keep the clay as mud, so we've no fear

that these boys will hurt each other
and hand in hand, concede, they're brothers.

Surely this poetry cannot be of me - as I write only pretty stuff about kitties and things.  Oh sure, I might make 'Deer and Toe foils, but never disasterously (ahem).  I'm sure they will agree, we are pretty immune to one another now - heh.

BTW - Karilea - I ain't holding hands with 'Deer or Toe!  *insert manly acting here*

You fear the day of the sour pun, Sy?? Obviously you haven't been reading Toerag's stuff!! I try to keep these boys in line, Sy, but you know how it is. Everybody wants to enjoy the bacon but nobody wants to have to raise the pigs....so that duty has fallen to me, I suppose.

Thanks for such an insightful poem which is 66 2/3% accurate.

Oh Sy.
The bad boys of these pages of blue is goin' to get ya.
For sure, for sure. Oh yes they are.
Me thinks you should build a sturdy castle with a moat around it. Then fill with nasty critters so the bad boys can't get ya.

The three little pigs
Didn't have it so bad.
Each one had his own little pad.
And unlike us,
Each one knows, what happens to him when he goes.
Each one knows that when they die,
They're going to bake or smoke or fry.
We've no idea what were going to be
When we shake hands with eternity!
