I wonder if he knows tonight?
Tonight?
He might
suspect something--
he's worried
in my pieces of
not enough
imaginings
oh the hollow
silence rings
there
where laughter
used to be
he knows
the arches
stinging me
ringbrows
(lord?)
prohibiting
damn
my dull
timidity
trading lame
for moment's peace--
"here's my queen, take game..."

I beg
disgust
transparency
gathering my cloak
to neck
knowing
I'm exposed
I beg
and gather dust
beneath my knees:

Let me pray the nation, love?
Let me speak a woman's peace.
Let me show humility--

a girlchild begging on her knees
just as mothers always did...

Take my heart
as my words bleed
aching for the tones
assuage
the memories
of ever was

coiling

home

to always is--
take me as I am
I'll give

every bit of me I've got

knowing
that it's not enough

every second
that I live

I urge me to become the more...

I urge me to become the more...

Yess, I believe you do...smiling at ya Gorgeous.

Beauty of the world which is soon to perish has two edges, one of laughter and one of anguish, cutting the heart asunder.

serenity,
You seek serenity? She lies beneath the winter snow, the spring tease and the summers breeze.

Good write!  I guess we all wish to become the more until we learn to love ourselves just as we are - it's just so hard getting there.
