Struggling to regain the will to stand on my own
two feet
Bounded limbs, but I'm able to crawl
and lose my foresight
Tonight we should fight
before we lose this life.

Daunted phantom of fear
trying to escape
From here
and there
Is an insoluble tear
mocking  you my dear

Conquer this whole
bewildered soul
You didn't want to masticate me
but you can obey this formula

I entered the race
but not to finish first
only to endure the journey
In which solace had been promised

And now I sit here wondering why you lied to me
you should have stole the oxygen from
this fools distortion of their trinity
I've been locked in solitary
I saw it again today
there she sat with her frailty

Hi, I was wondering if people would share their interpretation of this with me?

When fear of intimacy takes the reigns and ties the heart in darkness, it is sometimes necessary to fight for the love that will heal.  Often in the screams of rejection are woven the plead to break the spell. And sometimes those that love us most, believe the lie, never to challenge the truth.

Well done.

it seems to me also to be a straitforward rant against someone who pulled away. there are however echoes of pity in the last stanza. and the anger seems born of pain, not malice.

it is intersting that you characterize the object as frail, when the poem reveals the speaker to be just as much.
