Well blow me down! It’s time to light a torch!
The ides of March just threw me off my front porch!
A gale force wind is acoming in,
and on tonight’s high tide,
we’ll either sink or swim.

Word is, the Captain is nowhere to be found.
First mate screams and hollers,
says he mighta drowned.
The sail’s nearly been swallowed
by an angry surly sea,
and all I can think of
is how to save me.

Oh, the ides of March are upon me,
so I’ll stay away from the sea,
for a day or two anyhoo,
a landlubber I shall be.

LOL, it was really blowing hard here today, (and not just the verbiage)
ROTFL, the plastic chair flew off the porch...
guess I'd better go find it tomorrow...no doubt it's somewhere in the woods by now.

thank you for that reply, Dawn.
I've heard smiling is good for the face muscles.
I always enjoy your writes, too.
