on the way to next world

See the summits above
of a world throbbing beneath
air currents meet between
half  god's children lying asleep.
Rows of cotton cloud keep us shielded
from the discovery of an eternity
Why are we on this gigantic rotisserie?
with questions like these?
I'm unappeased by the temporary;
the beige desert sand
stripped of life
clouds that float into sight,
the events following a torrential rain
when parched soil opens her hugh drain.
Rocky canyons so patiently eroded
as I live in a humble abode,
there are so many truths untold
so much to repeat
so much again to unfold,
as seen from up above.
