False Happiness. Softly, your gaze brushes into my own. Your warm happy eyes, beautiful, like you, search my face with slight concern. I smile. You seem relieved. Pacified. Admittedly, my reaction was false. yet, my eyes can never lie, they remain the same- truthfully devoid of sparkle. |
