Listening to every heart

...Only one mountain completely high...

Where rare air chairs the ledge
here I sit, upon the edge,
questioning gambits
that led me here,
thinking clear, on echoes' air...

Where edelweis bends, winks
toward the sun
following by face it's value
of one
never questioning but always in seek
what gift, edelweis,
as it peeks
and plays to dance with air,
so rare the majesty of white it bears...

...Only one mountain completely high...
and I would dwell,
as if to touch
your sky...

Karilea
Very nice poem, enjoyed reading it...
The edelweis is certainly a beautiful and rare flower, perhaps the intrigue of something rare was part of a hidden meaning in this poem?...or did you visit the Alps and were inspired by seeing it there?
Makes no difference, really, just wondering..

Smiling at this, Sunshine!  Beautiful poem, and I'm having similar ponderings.   ....jo

Every heart a mountain grows
deeper the roots higher dwell
where snow is warm to feet
physics determined by warmth

of the singing heart
'midst madness mire muck to hire
within we project without the summit
of our being growing always as our heartsong

lifts our soul to spirit mind to meet
yea edelwis climbing another mirror
for in the TruePeaceSolitude we dust away
what others say high on the mountain see

clearly in sparkling air true reflection
all we need dare is view ourselves in truth
and much to our surprise we find someone
trying only to love and be loved therein

peace sweeps melody breezes gentler than an
angel's feather touch forgiving to forgive
mountain rises higher touching starlight
for Heaven loves the TRUE Mirrors embrace

We are that we strive, we strive that we are
Attaining pure rarified air to stand 'mongst
moments eternal gentle calling Golden Mile
High on the Mountain where Sunshine gilds all

"High on the Mountain, where the Sun stil Shines, and the water runs a little lazy."
