In the deepest, darkest jungle
Danger lurks at every tree,
Poachers, snakes and crockodiles,
And loads of killer bees.

Stories of things so much worse,
Have been told for many years,
Something much more dreaded,
The jungle shakes in fear.

The lions cower and run away,
The natives say "Ju-Ju"
The elephants just run and hide,
The legends are all true.

This beast is something horrible,
Eats raw meat-bugs and dung,
It's breath will clear a village,
The Swahili pack and run.

You know when it is coming,
From drum beats all in rhyme
Even Tarzan gets the hives
It's breath rots out his vines.

Army ants go "AWOL"
Hyenas make no sound,
(It's been said that's why the ostrich,
Sticks it's head beneath the ground).

Anteaters now go hungry,
There are no termite mounds,
The jungle doesn't have a bug,
When Balladeer's around.

I feel the tension in your words
I see your body squirmin'.
You know how good the 'deer can be
At getting rid of vermin.

Don't worry, my quite pudgy friend.
Come over here and hug me.
Your safety here will be secure
As long as you don't bug me!!!

Toe, Whatever the history with you and Balladeer is, it is intriguing and we are all benefiting.

Thanks for the fun stuff! And thanks to Balladeer as well. Good stuff..
