Letting

With the mind of an artist
And the soul of a saint
I read me her words
And was brought to faint.

They swept o’er my soul
In whispers of night
And danced in the colors
Of a prism of light

She says she’s a moth
That flies round my flame
But her arrow flies deep
With a heart for her aim

And I am transfixed
In dimensions unknown
The shaft of an arrow
Has gone to the bone.

Alas poor Sy, I know him well
Now
Stays stasis twixt heaven and hell

Good morning, Mr. T.!

Remember, moths are attracted to flame ~ and may yours burn forever brightly with glorious light!

Light attracts light!

Poetry's blue passions is surely a plus
when such a little moth makes such a great fuss...

My dear sweet Sy ... you put a smile on my face and a sigh in my heart with this.

I got such a kick out of your "faint" reply to my poem...

and I got news for ya Sy-babes...you've shot some heart darts of your own. *S*
And? you bet your bow and arrow...Randy is a pretty blue flame who knows the name of the game.

*ww*
love you Sy-guy

G'mornin' Sy

Have to chuckle that one particular "moth" was drawn to the flicker of this.

You know what they say of Heaven and Hell ...
choose well where to dwell and we'll live to tell.
Randy can handle the heat of Hell's fire ...
for all he desires in his dragon entire.

And you? You are a slice of Heaven on Earth ...
you, who took a moth and gave her butterfly worth.
