One day when all is said and done, Love will flow over, a heart now one, One day, tears will fall, eyes will cry, as I recall, Memories of our love, flowing as gentle clouds above, A precious time, a happy moment in my life, Each memory I will smile, cutting my heart like a knife, One day, I will turn around, see your face before me in a crowd, Knowing for a brief moment, what might have been, The world will stand still, Your eyes fixed on mine, Our souls will connect, no thoughts of time, Just a brief moment locked, inside a lovers stare, Across the crowded street, then you disappear, My smile turns to a frown, and I go about my daily beat, But one day, one day.... You will turn around, see me face to face....one day.
