Guilty until proven innocent would appear
through racial profiles of the thinnest veneer;
cast systems spread through the entire world
distinctions are made as to how hair is curled

I am a member of a particular race
learnt that guilt can leave its trace;
told the trial should be a determinant factor
but the guilt process obeys a different matter...

It's the victor's race that dictates the law
strikes ethnic groups at a quicker draw;
reminds me of the trial that Kafka depicted
how guilt was applied before he was convicted,

Me? I respect myself as a creative sort
aware of loop holes around the law court
know how law conditions aren't set in stone
may leave an innocent guilty and all alone.

You live up to your name in this one!  There are prejudices everywhere -- race is one and you did a great job in expressing your point.
