Intensely Anticipating

Something about sleeping
with the woman you love
captures your heart between beats,
stops your breath
so you can hear hers,
keeps you so still,
only the throb of her pulse remains . . .

Something about her lying
before you,
her fingers touching your chest,
her breath
soft on your cheek . . .

Something makes you lift her hand,
place the tip of her finger
between your lips,
gently nibble with your teeth,
caress with your tongue,
and lie there intensely anticipating
each movement you see . . .
as her body begins to awake.

yes, indeed, something mystical...almost celetial...and so very spiritual.  Enjoyed this one my friend, and love your picture, the baby is precious...profound, and I'm assuming, part of who you are, yes?

Someday "Da" or "Daa" (we haven't decided how to spell it yet - suggestion?), as she named me, needs to change that picture - Ryleigh is two-plus now, and she is so-o a part of grandpa's  heart.

Yes, I like to think it's who I am (but I'm the only one that agrees with that around here...Ha!!)

walk easy,

me.

James...one nit?  Pull out the comma after "lying"...and it makes a big difference in how people might read this!

See?

OOPS - Thank you ma'm, definitely a difference between "lying" and "lying" isn't there.
