 Picture by Alan Ayers * * * I've taken leave of my senses Since love came knocking on my door Feelings long ago abandoned Have now risen to the fore You touched a place inside me That was a wilderness until now For a moment time stood still As you kissed me on the brow With inhibitions cast aside You showed me love in all its glory Through each and every verse Of love's neverending story You filled my empty heart With passion and desire Since you came into my life It is to love I now aspire * * * "I never knew how to live until I knew how to love" I am in motion |
