Listening to every heart

Not quite Last

In caprice and gaily stepped
We danced unknowing,
Outside the circled fringe
Thinking to be middled, whole,
But shawl’s regrets
Had covered eyes…

Still, pulled on by tidal creep
Mind in haze
From lack of sleep,
Questioned the question
Which nagged me wake

And if but halfway through this life
At least
But not quite last
I am vessel, filled,

And was not left
In void forsake.

Home, now am I,
In all that wasn’t known, until
I was gathered in by circle round

And hear the pealing of the bells…

Noting nothing is squared
By plaited crown.

Sunshine,
You keep getting better and better.  How is it possible?  I could not believe all the depth of this.  I don't think I'll ever reach the bottom!  I've read it three times and each time I see more!  Off to the library!   You are such a neat person.  I'm glad it was you who greeted me when I first came.     ~SADIE~

Me again.   When will I remember to click to the library first time?

Oh my lady!
I close my eyes and see circles today..
Marvelous write....much enjoyed.
