I know I talk about my poems and others feel it should be a mystery for intepretation but I feel enjoyment if the background is know is more important.

Sorry dreams has always been a poem I love but could never write at all

It just somehow lives although it should have been - I still dont know - split up - re-written et al - and still everytime I look at it, it somehow sings to me

It is based on "Will Yea Go Lassie Go" and not from the Western series, please

Dave
*************************************************

The frost in on the grass
And the trees are sweetly blowing
And that old motorway

Swings around the crystal mountain

Will you go sorry dreams

And I will surely find another
Where old people grow
Just around the blooming mountain

Will you go sorry dreams

If my true love she were here
I would surely find another
Where wild cars go

All around the dark grey mountain

Will you go sorry dreams

My true love she will find
But why should she try to
Where people go to laugh

All around the threatened mountain

Will you go sorry dreams

And my dream is forged on faith
But without the slaughter
In the cold blue light

Of someone else's daughter

Will you go sorry dreams

And I will surely find another
Where wild people go
And all around the headlights mutter

words that melt like butter
drowning ideas in the gutter

Will you go Sorry dreams

If the sky here would fall
The cars would gather hereto
But yet sound in strife

A dance of life

Will you go sorry dreams

kind of sad with a glimmer here and there
to keep it from total despair

Grover, inkedgoddess, iliana, muted

Thanks

I just, in a way, wish I could re-write it.

In the end it turned out trying to be about 4 poems in one and doesn't seem to have hit any of them

Dave

I see why.
And I understand.
