Her face in denial
painted smile of fake.
Wandering waters
of translucent pain
crawl upon her face
mapping out
the memories
of her sadness.
Her eyes are gleaming
masquerading the pain.
But beneath the show
lie the tracks of tears.
Still
she is in denial.
An ominous red
looms around her eye.
Why is she
so afraid to cry.
