Sometimes I can write with a flourish A twist or a turn of a phrase Sometimes what I write is inspiring And even myself I amaze Some of my poems are quite naughty And others may be rather witty At times they are full of darkness When my mood is, well, rather gritty I will write about every emotion That I am feeling deep down inside But most are about just one subject Love lost, love found, love denied And yet I have found nothing better To express what I'm feeling so true Then to just come right out and say My darling, I'm in love with you... a pleasure to read; I envy you. I can't write about love well at all, in any context. Occasionally, i'll pump out something, but not often. It's as if that part of me is gone. Still, I do enjoy a good write, and here it was. Thank you. Sadie |
