Deliver them carefully

heads crowning
thru the brown veil of earth

there is no need for haste

breathe the light
as you bear down
on your own time

snow still sits on the branches
while you wait for clearance

the late march frost
melts into a tonic of hope
and a warning of premature birth

save a place for them

and bring them safely to the season
with the blessings
of those that paved the way for them

Amen.  Poor little buds...peeking out and getting snow in their eyes. I pray too that they will be fine. Enjoyed. Chris

Deliver them carefully

to planets

heads crowning
thru the brown veil of earth

tendered with the neligence that allows growth

there is no need for haste

breathe the light
as you bear down
on your own time

rocking your beat
sweetest

snow still sits on the branches
while you wait for clearance

of runways

while

the late march frost
melts into a tonic of hope
and a warning of premature birth

from those happier summer moments

save a place for them

and bring them safely to the season
with the blessings
of those that paved the way for them

Love your word Ink - more than I probably should

Beautiful Michele..as delicate as the tiny buds pushing forth.
Very much enjoyed this write.
