Here.

I place a finger on the screen.

Center of the universe.

I'm melting crayons on cement
to make sunrise from the night
and turning day to dusk with just
a finger on the light

turn around the baby jingles keys
and takes attention from just me
to such simple
da da da da     her knees

Darling dimpled chubbiness
lace to grace a bell on a string
kisses glory stickiness
and her hair was gossamer

floating dandelion breeze
magic--pouting painful tooth
bursting through a swollen gum
one white mountain on the plain

Here.

A finger offered her...

There.

She grabbed it--trusting me.

No one, but no one,
is taking this out
of my library.

I'm even putting a new light in
just to spotlight
this bit of
glory...

Gads, you two duet more, ok?

Nice job, Serenity Blaze and Martie!  I loved the melting crayons on cement part and all of it!  Perhaps you'll team up again?

(chuckling) Why am I not surprised????

Blend this then
the kiss of sun
the feel of rain
as words fall on page
in soft refrain

mixed these days
of passed remain
gentle
gentle
till you stir the heart

again...

Here to thank you all and especially the marvelous Martie--shaking my head--she's such a lovely lady as you all probably realize, and she's very easy to talk to and write with, and yet? I just "spazz" out everytime I try. But she's gentle and patient and gifted and kind--so I thank you, Martie, for taking the time for me this week. Her talent more than makes up for my inadequacies.

Yer a doll.

A most wonderful collaboration by two of my favourite poets.

Thank you both
