“ONLY FOR JUST YOU” by Bill Charles ~~~~ If I should write you a poem full of romance, that mentioned things that we would do, would you then follow your beating heart, knowing it was written only for just you… If I wrote words of dreams that you’ve had, but ones that never seemed to come true, would you then follow your beating heart, knowing the words were only for just you… If I wrote about dreams you’ve not known, and then they came true with my touch, would you then follow your beating heart, knowing dreams would not be enough… If I wrote of whispers I would say in your ear, sweet nothings that would mesmerize tonight, would you then follow your beating heart, knowing these whispers would be by candlelight… If I read you more of this poem of my thoughts, and you were traced by not only my pen, would you then follow your beating heart, for this lover you’ve always wanted since then… ~~~~ |
