The book had opened up, first page displayed;
Opening lines were warm and fresh
The plot was clear...
Printed there in thawing browns,
And slivers of new greens;
Good reading in the prelude tale of spring.
*
But north-wind came up strong and ruffled sheets,
Blowing shut the covers of the tome;
I cannot read the book today because it closed,
Censored by the cold, and mid-March snow.

Your poems are beautifuly haunting and echoing...you express yourself so well....

And with the cold you weave thoughts so desolate..but i like desolate....

Thank you...

What more could one wish for but replies such as these, Thank you all....

The tome is still closed here, it is 9 degrees outside this morning, but supposed to be in the fifties by Wednesday...
Perhaps the book will open then? I have faith it will....The daffodils are peeking through the snow, they will trumpet soon..all is good
Again.....Thank you..
