Thrill

pursed lips tailgate redhead
uptown downtown around town
city spiked heels clickety-click
sidecar slick biker chick
clocks 120 mph plus

minus celebrity status, zilched
mushroom minuets ballroom
shooting pool, playing poker-
faced with sheer rejection loser

winner takes less and less everyday
taxed harlots and virgins olive oil
gawking, walking, talking, stalking
on the levelest of level sidewalks
nylon stockings.

Grover

I'd like to say I understood this, but I would have to understand it first.

It sounds like a new kind of rap, downtime, uptime, bangtown, shooting up, dressing down, making up, firing down, where's action cool cause I'm ice

Like the flow.
