I have no opinion
what determines poetry
but knowing
it should not be anger...
I quiet,
lest this raving gape
like axed foul
should flail
the betrayed and blood soaked words
denied on chopper’s block
there upon the page
and find still
no care
for it’s pain.

You may feel it best Duncan to be quiet while feeling angry..
I prefer to write it out.
I've missed you.
Hugs~

Poetry is not an opinion expressed...
it is a song that rises from a bleeding wound
...or a smiling mouth.

I feel it takes all kinds of emotion to write true poetry....not every thing in life is a bed of roses...how is it you always see the truth in things?....I need that vision....felt here-- in understanding.....

There.  You did it again.
Sometimes, I like
having my words fly from me...

to just stand

quiet.

And humbled.

forgot to put in library...

( the "editor" should like this one...
its nice and short.)

I am sure of my reasons, embracing the seasons,
and the sacred simplicity of you at my side.

Wanna whine on the porch for a while?
It's OK by me, but you already knew that.
Just leave my slippers alone.

you know usually this isn't a form of poetry that I enjoy, it just always seems choppy to me, but this is the exception. The way you wrote it brings out the emotion behind it very vividly, wonderfully done.

Hey ya goob, I wasn't kidding,
that's big of you, and not always easy to do.

A wonderful message here, and so very well expressed.

Quietly said...But with surety of one that knows the benefit of constraint.

I happen to like this one a lot.

Thanks ya'll, your time and replies are much appreciated.
Unfortunately the constraint you mention Ed, came publicly only after shooting my mouth off privately, so any kudos for my behavior is grossly misplaced.
