Pre-Vows I vow to love you to the end Even in times when life throws a bend Together we will dance above the sun Our feet comforted by the smile of Orion I promise to let you grow as a woman And let you flourish inside the heart of this man My temper I will gladly hold For your love sings to my soul with a voice of gold I will be that pedestal you stand on Rising your head to the brightest star for your crown You are my unpolished diamond queen And forever I will cherish your ebony sheen In all that is life, to your beauty I bow It is to you I offer these heartfelt vows In your time of need always think of me And in my time of pain, my heart will call to thee You will never hear me say “good-bye” Because I will never make you cry And even in the end, I will never fair thee well A magic of our last kiss---which our hearts will never tell.
