The thing about blossoms
is their potential
unfolding from some quiet place
not entirely numb after all
a struggle, yet gifting of grace

Once the work starts
there’s change in perspective
it’s easy to lose sight of the vision
but hope inspires the forward motion
as destiny’s journey begins

New pleasures slowly reveal themselves
like springtime shedding blankets of snow
the blossoms burst open
like hearts receiving
the love that will make them glow

Love forms connections, firm roots to blossoms
encouraging them as they grow
sharing their knowledge
holding them up, simply saying
“Here’s what I know”.

Great stuff. Kahlil. Here's my spring poem.

Feeding on the burning ice

Locked in frosts dying vise

Winter drops its frozen tear

To melt upon Springs blushing rear
