One of the problems of a three poem limit is that no-one wants a site swamped, but when you feel like writing and sharing, the limit becomes a barrier for someone like myself.

Bag over my shoulder
Warm and wrapped hell
Along a dark road

Was I heading

To something new?

Hedges dripping green and wet
Bus scattering through
Hundreds of miles to go

Was I just passing through?

Walked for miles and miles
Like a kid
Who’s done wrong

Hiding in the darkness
Frightened to go back
Walking on the road
Listening to my pack

Never known the happiness

No one else to blame
Just the elements and me
Travelling just the same

Always in your mind
Is the beautiful thought?

Do I really prefer the wild?

Or by a wild woman to be caught?

Well, there's something to think about...good work.

Hold on, if you feel like letting go
Hold on, it gets better than you know....
